Self-Portrait in Times of a Pandemic

The following project is a series of self-portraits I shot in June and July 2020. I wanted to deal with the consequences of the pandemic in an artistic way. To me, the pandemic meant moving home to my parents, and therefore back to a lifestyle that was more connected to nature than I had experienced the past years before. Meeting other people to document this introversion and sometimes isolation was not possible, so I decided to to a series of self-portraits.

Returning back to nature, having to be alone most of the time and actually learning to be alone again without distraction. These are all themes I wanted to express through my photography.
